Please review below our Cancellation Policy & Service Policy ***********CANCELLATION POLICY********** Your appointments and well-being are very important to us. We understand that sometimes, unexpected delays can occur, requiring schedule adjustments. If you need to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice. RESERVATION DEPOSIT: We require a reservation deposit to be paid upon booking in order to retain your appointment. The amount of the reservation deposit will be equal to $25 or $50, depending on the service price: All free appointments require a reservation deposit of $25. Services costing less than $99 require a reservation deposit of $25. Services costing $100 or more require a reservation deposit of $50. The free appointment reservation deposit will be refunded in accordance with your method of payment (e.g. to the card that you paid with) at the end of the appointment. Reservation deposits for paid services will be considered part of your payment. This means that the final amount you will be required to pay for the service at checkout will equal to the service fee minus the reservation deposit. For example, if the service price is $100, then at checkout you will only need to pay the remaining $50 ($100 - reservation deposit of $50). CANCELLATION FEES WILL BE EQUAL TO YOUR RESERVATION DEPOSIT. CANCELLATION LESS THAN 24 HOURS PRIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT: You will be charged a cancellation fee for any cancellation or reschedule made less than 24 hours in advance of your appointment. RUNNING LATE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT: If you are more than 15 minutes late for your service, we may not be able to accommodate you. In this case, the same cancellation fee will apply. We will do our very best to reschedule your service for another time that is convenient to you. EMERGENCY CANCELLATION: In the event of a true, unavoidable emergency, all or part of your cancellation fee may be applied to future services. ACCEPTANCE OF THIS POLICY You acknowledge that you have read this Policy and agree to all its terms and conditions. If you do not agree to abide by the terms of this Policy, you are not authorized to access or use the Website and Services. ***********SERVICE POLICY*********** BY APPOINTMENT ONLY Berenice’s Hair cannot accommodate walk-ins. To schedule a reservation, please book a consultation (new clients), or visit your profile (returning clients). NO CHILDREN Berenice’s Hair provides guests with a calm, relaxing atmosphere. It is not a safe or suitable environment for children. Clients must make childcare arrangements prior to visiting as children are not permitted in the studio. Clients who arrive with children will be requested to reschedule as there are no exceptions to this policy. DEPOSIT REQUIRED AT RESERVATION It is important to us at Berenice’s Hair that we keep our prices competitive for our customers. Our reservation deposit policy not only achieves that by eliminating the financial impact caused by missed appointments and late-cancellations, but also provides our guests with transparent pricing and no-hassle checkout! At Berenice’s Hair, you’ll never be surprised at the register and your checkout process will be as simple as collecting your receipt. Should you cancel your appointment in accordance with our Cancellation Policy, your deposit will be immediately refunded. FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENTS Experiencing some mild discomfort is absolutely normal after your initial Hair Extension Fitting. However, if you find your extensions to be much more than just slightly uncomfortable (for example, you cannot sleep because extensions are bothering you), you may book a free follow-up appointment within 14 days of your appointment to adjust the extensions that are causing this issue. Hair extension removal is subject to an extra fee. CHECK-UP APPOINTMENTS New clients are encouraged to book a check-up between the procedures of fitting and maintenance/removal (this appointment is different from a regular maintenance session). At a check-up, the extension technician will examine the state of your locks, comb your root area and give additional care recommendations. The check-up is free of charge. To schedule an appointment, please visit your profile. CLIENT’S RESPONSIBILITY Here at Berenice’s Hair, your hair health is of utmost importance. And while we provide you with safe extension services, it is your responsibility to: 1) follow the care instructions accessible to you from your client’s portal; 2) come in for a follow-up appointment if you experience discomfort or pain after extension application; 3) come in for your recommended check-up appointment; 4) come in for your maintenance or removal appointment at a date recommended by your extension technician, or once you notice your extensions are beginning to tangle at the root. Berenice's Hair is not responsible for any adverse effects on hair health that have occurred as a result of the client's failure to fulfill the above-mentioned responsibilities. ORDER DEPOSIT FOR HAIR AND/OR CUSTOM EXTENSION TIPPING/TAPING To ensure your satisfaction, we at Berenice's Hair require all hair and/or extension custom tipping/taping orders to be secured with a $100 deposit. This order deposit is non-refundable. It ensures that the hair extensions are reserved just for you, and made unavailable for purchase by others. The deposited amount for the order will be subtracted from your final bill at checkout. However, since the custom extension crafting and/or hair are ordered in accordance with your specific characteristics, we will withhold this order deposit in case of order cancellation to cover our incurred financial loss for this product/service. NO HAIR RETURNS & EXCHANGES Client safety and product integrity are important to us, therefore product refunds or exchanges are not accepted. Applied hair extensions are considered to be contaminated and will not be eligible for refund or return. NO SERVICE REFUNDS To ensure you receive the most favourable outcome, an extension technician performs thorough consultations that require your participation and honest feedback. All service sales are final. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE For your safety, comfort and satisfaction, Berenice’s Hair reserves the right to refuse service at our discretion when necessary. More than anything, we want to ensure that you have a great experience at our studio, and leave happy with the work we do. Please trust the judgment of our trained extension technician. DUTY TO INFORM Your health and safety are of paramount importance to us. We trust the information you provide on your client intake form. Successful service execution requires your full disclosure during all pre-service consultations. Berenice’s Hair will not be responsible for any adverse reaction to services rendered in circumstances where a guest has failed to inform us of contradicting conditions. SCOPE OF PRACTICE NOTICE Should your professional determine that you are ineligible for service due to contradictions, we will happily refer you to an appropriate physician.
